I don't think Maryville, IF they show up and play have much to worry about. The Bears are my team and I support them to the hilt, but this is one realistic fan.

One thing, tho. Don't underestimate the Bear passing attack. They can take it down the field with authority if given half a chance.

Bradley Central just played their 1,000th game in week 9, so they have a long history of football, including a couple of State Championships (1961 and 1976).  It is interesting that they hold the series lead vs. Maryville, but that won't help them this week.  I hope the Bears can keep it close.

They will not be given half of a chance. Maryville is not like anybody you have seen they are an absolute machine. Pray for turnovers and some kind of monsoon weather and incredible luck. Even then the rebs could win by 35.

They are known around here as the east tn allstars!! :popcorneater:

Every team has a chance. That's why they play the games. The best teams limit mistakes, play a full game and give 100% on every snap. The Maryville mentality in business as usual.

Like every GQ coached team, MHS has peaked at the right time and all roads to the State Game go through Maryville's front D Seven. The O will score the points you let them if your team has any weakness.

MHS will roll over Bradley by 38. No contest.

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
