South Pitt vs. Fayetteville (Moore man against this Palmer man)

Anyone that thinks this Pirate team is unbeatable is not looking at things realistically.  This is not the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, or 2011 team.  This is not a stockpiled team of athletes like in those years.  This team has faced 3 good teams and are 2-1 against them.  Yes, they have faced adversity and showed signs of being a more mature team but last week was a setback.  First half was good but you have to play a full 4 quarters.  If Moore Co was a better team, the Pirates would be practicing basketball this week.  The Pirates are facing a fledgling team this week, but they have several athletes that will give them problems.  They better be ready to play and cut out all of the mental mistakes or this could be the end of the road for them this week. 

 

On the flip side, if the Pirates will get their minds right as Eraser says, and come in focused they can compete with any team in 1A.
