Heard from Maryville or Alcoa, TSSAA?

I'm all booked up this week for Coaches, but Coach Quarles has agreed to join me next Friday (Halloween) on The Friday Main Event.  Let me know if you guys have anything you'd like to know and I'll try to ask him.

So i'm guessing maryville takes cookeville's spot in the region. And cookeville will move into the region with the Rutherford county schools?

Well that works out nicely. It will save all the region teams some time and money as far as travel goes.

So Maryville is moving up, very interesting, kinda surprised after the statement that George Quarles made last week when the numbers came out. I wonder where that will put the Admirals, Knoxville or Chattanooga region. Are they going to release anything between now and the time they vote on the new regions in Novemeber?

I think it was in his best interest and the TSSAA to not reveal that information.  If their destination had been known pre deadline, who knows how the dominos would of fallen.

You may be joking with this post.....but, as a WB parent, I definitely don't look forward to traveling to these schools to play, really wish WB would have moved down. From the looks of it, I am not sure that 5A won't be more competitive than 6A.
