Oak Ridge at Dobyns-Bennett

I am really looking forward to this game.  Oak Ridge and Dobyns-Bennett games have almost all been classics, this one should be another good one.  I saw DB play Farragut last year and was impressed with the line play and the running back.  DB fans should see a much tougher defense in Oak Ridge than TN high so I expect a closer score.  It sounds like both schools have great kickers so that should be fun to watch as well.  Not predicting a score yet, but glad to be able to banter with DB fans again on Coach T.

 

The RB is now at Science Hill, however I saw DB play last week and they have guys to take his place.

Hey DB fans, I have heard all kinds of rumors about the visitor side bleachers being awful, to small etc and even new ones installed..Give us OR fans the low down so we can prepare a little please.

Nu, the stands are tiny.  They will be jam packed well before kick off.  Many Oak Ridge fans will have to watch this one standing up or on the DB side.  I'm leaving OR at 4:30 hoping to get a seat.

Visitor sections are

1 large section behind scoreboard endzone Visitor side of goal post

2 large sections (seat 300 ea) from goal line to 40 yd line

2 small sections (seat 200 ea) from mid filed to about the far side 25 yd line

 

Seating for 1000 bring more and set in the upper deck

 ok that sounds better than what I remember.  They must have added more since the last time we came up for the playoffs.

Yep...added the 2 smaller sections - they give most teams ample seating. They just don't go goal line to goal line

Too late unless many OR fans are traveling on that same schedule. Upper deck seats will be available on the home side for $20 each unless the price has gone down from last year.
