strongx
The only real comparison here is the mutual competition that both teams have played in similar games. That's Cookeville. Both teams scored 49 points with limited players in the second half. Cookeville scored 10 on Maryville and 28 on Blackman. Playoffs are all about peeking at the right time. everyone one can boost and brag but it would be nice to hear who people think the key one on one match ups will be in this game. Either way it will be a lot closer than many may think...but for Maryville the road to the gold ball has to go through Rutherford County twice this year..Yeah, it would be nice to hear about some match ups. A guy in my neighborhood told me BHS was big and fast compared to Murvil. Also, Murvil should have volunteered to play Smyrna in a midweek game this week so they could have a shot at playing all those teams in that region! Seriously, I have heard about a standout rb and qb for BHS. Not got any info on the defense yet.

Seriously, I have heard about a standout rb and qb for BHS. Not got any info on the defense yet. The running back Taeler Dowdy had 266 yards on 36 carries last Friday and is a 5 star prospect. The QB Miller Armstrong is a fooler. He looks small and doesn't seem to be flashy but is a solid work horse who doesn't make mistakes. The defense is solid up the middle and will be hard to run on. This will surely be Maryville's first test of the year and if they get by Blackman, Oakland is a beast. They are the real deal!
GodCountryNotreDame
Is MHS rely more on pass / run or is it balanced ? I know starter numbers are going to be somewhat low due to margins of victory and sure GQ pulled most starters Have to root for BHS but MHS walks away with win Edited November 16, 2015 by GodCountryNotreDame
