I will say this I have never heard of Grace backing down from anyone. I belive that the Greenback and Grace was on of the biggest rivalries in recent years. That was a game we hated.even more than Coalfied. now with that being said I agree that all privates should be D-II. Period.

thats not to say they couldnt still play D-1 schools it just wouldnt be a region game. And another thing Jet Grace dosent go get easy games they go get WEBB, and Jefferson county they always play up that makes them better in the long road.

Never bashed Grace about there non region schedule. I like the fact Grace plays Jefferson County, CAK, Campbell County & Webb... gcapride was bashing us for playing Tn Christian I don't blame us scheduling that game if you can get 2 homes out of it

That how it was normally is but our 2 game set with Tn Christian was set up to play both games at Rockwood. We could have just took a forfeit like everyone else did but we was able to pick up Lancaster to replace it this year

In my opinion it goes a lot deeper. but it's better to leave all that stuff in the past. GCA will be fine and the Tigers won't be down for long.

Reason the crowd was down at Rockwood Friday everyone in roane county was 10 miles down the road watching Coalfield vs Harriman. Rockwood is down this year heck where playing a freshman QB and not many people thought we had a chance Friday. To be honest I think Rockwood played really well for 3 Qrts Friday. So you can not judge our poor crowd. Rockwood normally has very large crowds

Coalfield crowd was bigger the Harriman's!I again was dissapointed to not see standing room only for such a huge game.Come to GB Thursday even a TV game will be standing room only!I ask a Harriman fan which side had the most and he said Coalfield!I asked what he thought and he said the same thing I did-he just don't understand it.They had a nice crowd from What I have seen in the past but heck it was two undefeated teams in the strongest East division and they should be there in support! I had a great time win or lose the other night. I always love to take a few pictures so I never forget some of the great places I've been to. I miss the day's when Maryville was a smaller school and played teams like Kingston, Rockwood, Oliver Springs, Loudon and many others. Going to a game like that was like going back in time when we played Rockwood when the Chapman boy's were there.
