I remember Notre Dame a hiring a head coach one time and didn't check his resume and found out he hadn't been at one of the places he said and they had to terminate him.

I’m sure with all the Red Rebels programs you have collected you could verify if he coached in the early years under GQ.  I’m getting old and can’t recollect him.

Coach Thacker was most likely a graduate assistant possibly but looking back through all the Maryville Football Yearbooks he isn't pictured with the coaches and I even went back to 1998.
