Oak Ridge and DB

Yeah, score probably could've been worse, but we mass substituted near the end of the 3rd, along with the mercy rule. Be safe going home DB fans. That drive sucks after getting beat, especially like that.

Congratulations SS, I called it after our scrimmage with you guys that Oak Ridge would be tough to beat this year.

You really can't blame it all on Christian. He is still a very good line coach. He was given the job and you can't expect him to turn it down. But I think it's clear he's way out of his comfort zone. Some people are just not cut out to be head coaches. He also has no help from the rest of the staff. None, zero, nada. There's not a coach under Christian that should be coaching at a 6A school with the tradition that DB has. This is what you get when you let a bunch of "good ole' boys run your system. From the school board to the AD, and that so called search committee. Their entrenched and theres nothing anyone can do. We just have to wait until they all die off. After looking at the schedule and how the remaining team are looking I don't see a win the rest of the way. If Hicks goes down I'll guarantee a winless season. I hope the good ole boys are happy with what they've done to the Dobyns Bennett football program.

I heard Christian wasn’t allowed onto the bus home. He was seen thumbing rides out on I-40

After what I seen TA Dugger do to John Sevier Middle School it don’t look to good for DB in the years to come but I wish them the best and am glad that Witten is still at Betsy.

DB seriously needs to get Sullivan Central, Volunteer, David Crockett back on the schedule so they can pad the dubs.

Don't think DB wants to play Crockett and Central would be a very interesting matchup with their offense this year.

Way to go Wildcats.Herbert improved a lot in 1 game.Cant wait to see how good he is by the end of the year.Also Mitchell is the man.Hardest hitter in East TN.Great all around team effort.Loved getting backups some good reps.Good Luck DB getting things back on track.
