If you think your comments are indicative of someone who is " trying to stay out of the way and discuss a few facts and smart opinions"  then you are still insufferable.

Ouch! but correct. Only comments and no facts or wisdom at this point. BUT I am looking forward to either one of them or both in the future.

Take it how you want to jack. You played a team that was playing up a division on a neutral site. They way some of ya'll talking you would think the '85 Bears would have trouble whooping ya'll. Just saying step out of the Northeast of TN so we can see the Green Devil machine

They did come out of the West side of the Bracket. So by saying that you must be meaning west tn football isn’t on the same level as Greeneville in 4a.

I'm taking it exactly how you said it BHS.  You tell us to drive 7 hrs to play a Shelby Co team when Logistically it would make more since if we played a team out of Charlotte (better competition, less travel expense, and our fans would travel better).  I knew it was a dig the whole time because BIG BAD Memphis teams are so Scary . (Outside of a Hand full of Shelby County teams Shelby County Football isn't all that Good) We played a team that was in a 4a state championship game so either hang with Shelby Co all the time or don't.  (Us Greeneville fans don't buy into well they were playing up BS because Greeneville always played up until 2009 and decided to play were the TSSAA put us).   We do step out of NE Tennessee and travel to NC,VA, and KY because it makes logistical sense because of were we are located.  I haven't taken one low blow or cheap shot at Haywood Co. (I actually picked them or Springfield to make it out of the West in the pre-season because I had seen film on them and have said all year they are a top 5 team in 4a if you want to look back at my posts). It will be a good game on Thursday but as a fan and former coach I see Greeneville be more Multidimensional for Haywood when it comes to overall game plan and being there before.

I mean the program ended up becoming 2A champions like 4 years later... they should not have been in 4A when they played ya'll at the time but whatever. It was a big win. I hope to see if ya'll can do it to them Tomcats lol

BlackHaven, what are some of the indicators that lead you to believe Haywood can pull this off? How about their 4 losses? Could you analyze those for us in the East. Thank you in advance.

I know as much about this year's Haywood co team as I know about Greenville and that's nothing besides neither would beat up on Whitehaven, ya hurr me (in Memphis-ese) 8-)

We just left Maplewood in Nashville with a W.  How far do you want them to go?

Not blackhaven, but the Haywood team that’s playing right now looks nothing like the team that took all those losses early in the year. Injuries to key starters played a big role in the slow start to the season (particularly Reed). The Haywood team that showed up against Dyersburg and Springfield in the playoffs would have handled Dyersburg/ Henry County/Briarcrest and shown a lot more life against MUS. As far as reasons why I think Haywood should be competitive with Greeneville... Haywood has the size and athletecism to matchup against Greeneville better than anyone they’ve seen this year. I expect the tough schedule Haywood played to help them stave off some of the Shell shock that most teams experience playing against Greeneville. And lastly, I don’t expect Greeneville to have as much ease containing Haywood’s stable of dynamic backs as everyone else seems to. Coaching, discipline and offensive gameplanning are the 3 areas where I see Greeneville as having a huge advantage against Haywood just from the few games of film I’ve been able to watch. As an aside, congratulations to Ballard on the Mr. Football award, it was certainly deserved!
