As my team has been moved to Division 2 by the powers that be, I thought I would slide on down and try to wake up this board. Get ready folks cause Big Ed Mo, Reitz Fan, and Intense are on our way and we are going to shake things up.

We are like the Boogey Man....cause we're coming to get you. 

You may not see us but you will know we are here as we will be the ones "shaking the bush".

We are officially in the mandated "dead period" for athletes according to the TSSAA.  People, that does not mean we can't talk some football now. Nobody has commented on this board in five days. Sure hope this board isn't this dead during the season. Anyway, I'm just out hear trying to "shake the bush".

Trinity Christian from Jackson, right? Who are your regional opponents this year? I'm guessing you are A? Did USJ drop down to A this year or was that just a rumor? Do you feel you guys will be improved from last year?

Without any research, my guess is Friendship Christian will be a top team in the state in A this year.  I don't think they lost a lot of seniors. I'm not sure about Davidson, I think their top 3 recruits were seniors.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
