Well I said before and will repeat on game day. It will take an outstanding effort from us and probably a little help from y'all for us to win. I think overall the Tide has the better team. But I think we all know the best team doesn't always win. So, I hope to see my Tornadoes strap it on and come to fight. Play a good game and let the chips fall where they may. If after the game (win or lose) they can say we did the best we could then that's all I can ask. We haven't been able to say that after every game this year. Hope we can after this one. I will be there yelling and hope to see a good game with both teams giving it their all. Hope both teams are injury free but wore out by the end.

I think you’re pretty spot on. It will take Peabody hurting themselves & UC playing their best ball for them to win. Peabody still owes UC for those butt whoopings they put on the Tide a few years ago.

At least we are losing this game because we are playing a better team and not beating ourselves. The one fumble that we had is a prime example of the types of fumbles that happened in the last two games, if any of you Peabody people are wondering what happened. Yep, 12 of those during the GC game.

How do you think a Peabody/Lake County game would turn out ?

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
