You and a couple of others have always had a hardon with me or anyone else that don't fit the narrative of the People's Republic of Maryville High Football.

I will try and look at things more positive from now on starting today.  The biscuits won't get burned today because someone is playing on Coact T. because schools out. How's that.

That's an unfortunate choice of words, Barn. Please realize that what you say and think is not really that important in the whole scheme of things. I realize you think so....but its really not. The same is true for me and the rest of us fans. I have to bale out of this thread since I have been banned from the T for a couple of years, but I promise if that kicking game is not straighten out, or if there is one single dumb play or turnover for the remainder of the year somebody will be grounded and their phone will be confiscated until Spring practice begins.

Yes it was a poor choice of words but the new stuff they have me on has increased the size of the send button by 89%. I will have to have that looked at on my next visit to the doctor.  You read me totally wrong.  I 100%  support the coach we have right now and couldn't have picked a better choice. The issues at hand on the mistakes are not the coaches fault. He didn't drop the punt inside the ten yard line, he didn't watch a kickoff get recovered by the opposing team while four players for some reason that got confused and just stopped and watched. What he did do was make this team good enough to overcome those mistakes. I also know he has had to deal with bigger issues than GQ ever had and that was attrition which hurt us on the line as you mentioned. That has been my concern and I know it has been for him also. I also like how he plays many as possible which only helps the future. At one time I thought Derek Rang should of got the call when GQ left because of head coaching experience and fresh off that state championship. I was scarred for Derek Hunt because of this attrition mess and the pressure he would be under and all the doomsayers that you can't follow a legend.  He has done a great job and I'm very proud everything stayed the same. I was watching GP and AE play on a Thursday Night this year and I can't tell you how glad I was just from watching that game alone that Maryville did get the right man. Sorry about the Oompa Loompa thing but I got that from someone setting near me at a ballgame here recently when I ask if they still read Coach T and they said they used to but got tired of that Oompa Loompa setting down there that just lives on it with a pack of nonsense so they quit reading it.

Only people that  make a comment like this are the ones who just look at a headline. In most games the reserves got as much snaps as the starters did

Agreed.  I am at every home game and a few road games.  I think the majority of points in those 80 pt routes were scored by 2nd and 3rd teamers.    Ol Mary talkin bout our soft schedule?  Pffft......yes it wasn't the hardest but neither was Murryvilles.

Hopefully our little fellars don't get hurt too bad Friday night.

You will find Ole Mary is right a heck of a lot more than she is wrong.
Hard to score 80 against air, so I will be polite and call your strength of schedule “suspect” as it were.

Oakland Offensive Stat Leaders:

Passing: Sparks-1377

Rushing: Brown- 646

Receiving: McDonald -210

Brown didnt play a game until Blackman and only had 3 carries in that one. If Oakland was determined to run it up, these numbers would be WAY higher. Not gonna find an Oakland fan who will call this schedule tough, but they couldnt predict Germantown would go from being really good to really bad. I think they shown in the past that they wont #### anyone in the pre season or regular season

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
