How does our State Champions stack up?

Ga's population makes it a big change at the upper classes and they have had a playoff system much longer than TN.  TN has only had a playoff system for 50 years and AL 53.   Ga, about 70 or 80.  I have seen south Ga teams like Valdosta, Lowndes Co and Colquit County play every year as well as some Florida teams.  There were 3 Florida state championship games played 8 miles from my house this year in a HS stadium.

Edit:  BTW, a perennial power in DII football uses Valdosta High's football stadium for their home games.  Without a doubt Valdosta High has the best HS stadium in the country private or public.

Valdosta Has a very nice Stadium no doubt but the best HS Stadium in the country is a stretch.  Check out Allen High School Football Stadium ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_Stadium_(Allen,_Texas) ) or Cy Fair outside of Houston (https://www.berrycenter.net/stadium).  You can't hide Texas Oil Money

And exactly why I said we wont see this since none of the teams play .  It's not PS2 it's from a website that has been around for over 20 years and uses Algorithm like they would in the BCS Bowl games before the selection committee.  You can compare teams from every state and takes in account of who teams of lost to or how much a team beats another team.

ex.  St John Bosco the #1 team in the nation is projected to beat Maryville 46 to 8.  Also has St. John Bosco a 30 point Favorite vs Thompson the top team out of AL 50-20

I believe we have known about Cal Preps for years but thank you for the explanation.

Well, Bazemore-Hyder stadium at Cleveland Field was originally opened in 1922 and was never closed because it cracked after being built in 2012 although they did have a wooden bleacher collapse in 1941.  The Valdosta Wildcats won 21 of their state titles and 6 of their national titles on that field.

tennessee has more white kids as a percentage, hence we dont compete as well against other states. im sure someone will get their skirt in a blender over that but that's what everyone is trying to say without saying it.

Glad you said it General. The liberal media won't be happy if they see this.

its not a big deal. its a huge reason Forrest kills it in our reagion then struggles with the Marions and TCs and would struggle with Peabody. Also Watertown got more minority kids in 2019 and ran us off the field. we are a slow methodical run team. not a good come form behind formula. in 1-2 years East Robertson will run us off the field also. maybe this coming season. but soon, with our growth, we will get some minority kids, and with our systems, we will become very competitive. we also will likely grow to a 4A school in the next 25 years. theres no doubt about it. Il'l be long gone by then unfortunately.

Best players on the Marion Co teams were white. I would take Kirkendoll and Zeman on any high school team I was a part of. Lots of factors go into a successful high school football program. The number of minority kids is way down the list.

Hog wash....

Example : Antioch High School in 6 A (exclusively black athletes ) would get beat by nearly any 1A / 2A team that is decent ( including Forrest)

Example: Whites Creek ( I believe is 4 A) got ran off the field by an average Westmoreland team who is predominantly white.

Example: Tyner ( great football team) but with your theory they should win the State Championship every year but it doesn’t happen.
