More on the Death of KWC

Tears are hard to stop right now. KWC (Kermit Clinton) was a true lover of High School football. We know how much he loved Whitehaven>He was a 1982 graduate of WH. He could debate anybody on Memphis football but always with class. He started The  Big Games IN Memphis" contest that made us very competitive. It is so sad that Whitehaven lost a rising  Senior to death on Thursday and one of its biggest fans on yesterday. We have stood on the track during Mitchell and Whitehaven games and talked until the lights were turned off. RIP KWC

This is horrible news. I did not know him personally but he was a very knowledgeable, classy, and fine person. I will miss him terribly even though we never met or spoke a word to one another.  The YANKER always had the utmost respect for KWC. RIP Kermit Clinton  Coacht will not be the same without you. My prayers are with his family.

So sorry hear this. I loved his post. No doubt he was a true Whitehaven fan. I have a friend and co-worker that graduated from Whitehaven in 1986 with Rodney. Just got through telling him about Demetrius getting killed Thursday after football practice,  now this. Praying for the families and the Whitehaven Community.

 So sorry to hear this. I never had the privilege of meeting KWC but always enjoyed reading his posts about Whitehaven and HS sports in general. You could tell he was a quality person just from reading the tone of his posts- (yours too, Galilee, BTW).

This is just horrible.  KWC was one of the most respected coming from the entire West Tennessee area.  He was always informative and very respectful.  Just hate to hear this news!!

Such sad news.  It felt like he was just on yesterday, but looks like it's been almost two weeks.  Prayers to his family, friends, and Whitehaven.  2020 has been a cruel year...
