Picking Tigers in a mild upset. Speaking of upset I remember a time when me and my best friend drove a scooter to aspen to return a brief case to a lady. I went to visit and whew my stomach got to churning and had to get to a restroom BAD. Now that was upset

No upsets either way in this game. Both teams are confident and expect to win.

There it is. I was thinking Mike might had.
I think SP is much faster than Meigs. I'm curious to see how the old speed vs power matchup plays out tonight.

That's what I think as well. We have decent speed but not like you have. We will have to hit hard and hit you early to win this game. We have to wrap up on tackles right away to slow you guys down.

Yeti, I will have my popcorn in front of the TV tonight. Good Luck, It should be a chess game between both coaches!!

I dont think anyone will be dissapointed. Meigs has really gotten up for big games this year and none has been bigger thus far. We wont dissapoint.

Very little sleep last night in anticipation of the game. Has the makings of an Instant Classic.

Yeti - what time do the gates open? Me and PirateMike will be in town early having supper at the Decatur Family Diner.

Gates normally open at 5:30. It may be some earlier considering we are having the annual Pig Roast. Its good food. If ya in the mood for pork ya should check it out.

    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
    • I was kind of surprised to read this. I thought the general concision was most programs are going back to natural grass. Personally, I have never liked turf. I see the arguments on both side for or against it. I just never liked them. Also, I did not know there as an impaction test that these fields had to pass. Good stuff OP
