McMinn Co at Dobyns Bennett Decision on Monday

The article said the Sullivan County doctor over the regional health department said “It’s his responsibility to protect the citizens of Sullivan Co.” . Good job doc. 
In the grand scheme of today’s times any team will be fortunate to advance past this week.

How can anyone complain about this decision? The TSSAA, Dobyns Bennett, and McMinn were ready to play Tuesday. However the McMinn County Health department failed to provide the necessary documentation on time. Sounds to me like the county didn’t want them playing. Hmmmmm.

Maybe the Mcminn health department didn't have the paperwork the TSSAA asked for because it was never done in the first place..just wondering out loud

So everyone has been pointing out that Sullivan county health dept dropped the ball. But it seemed like every1 wanted to play, even the TSSAA. But the mcminn county health dept couldn't provide the necessary info? Wonder how and why that is? And I can't wait for people to act like it's DBs or the SCHD's fault

I was quite shocked to see they were considering a tues game!  Not sure how you play tues and again fri or sat in Maryville?

Im sure McMinn would take that option about now, but would set up an even more daunting task for winner.

Figured this is what would happen, surprised they would let a game happen on a Tuesday.  Then ya read the last paragraph and go “ohhhhhhh”

Good letter. Hate it for mackmen seniors. They had a great year. I guess all the teams should be thankful for whatever games they were able to get in during this mess. They all played more than the baseball teams this past Spring.

So obviously they didn't have the verification that contact tracing was done, or done properly. The TSSAA ask McMinn Co. High School to get that information from the McMinn Co. health dept. So they put the burden on McMinn Co. High School. I would still like to know who screwed up. The high school or the health dept.
