Not as a personal insult but saying he shouldn't get it because another player on his team was nominated. Would you like me to list the 6? Gladly:

Gio Davis OL/ DL Jr.

Jared Stone OL/ LB Sr.

Jamal Allen DE/OL Sr.

In single A, at their respective positions, there is not one player I would take over them.

So because you wouldn't take one player over them they're Mr Football worthy? Look I'm not about to talk down on any kids I'm sure they're fine players and most schools would love to have them. That being said if half of these kids wore a different uniform SP fans such as yourself wouldn't give them the time of day. Your fanbase has a horrible habit of thinking an accomplishment is magnified if someone does it with a P on their helmet. The facts are if you had 6 guys worthy of a Mr. Football nomination you wouldn't have an L on your record nevertheless one from a 2A (a very darn good one) with 1 Mr Football worthy athlete on their team. Simple as that.

I was saying that because Snyder probably should’ve won the award last year but he didn’t have as much exposure as Willis did at Greenback. Not saying Willis didn’t deserve it but I feel like that is a factor. Don’t get me wrong I’m a glad a big boy is getting some love but I’d like to see some numbers.

I'm sure it is. That can probably be said every year. SP has had their share both ways thru the year. Raquis Hale, Robert Johnson, Eddie Moore comes to mind.

I think Meigs has at least 6 worthy of Mr. football.  Simple as that!!

To answer: I would say the L was from line play...not the ones mentioned and qb play. You can't really say its popularity that gets you in to Mr Football bc if that was the case Gio, the linemen I mentioned would be up for it since he has an offer from Ole Miss.
I will agree that a lot are deserving on multiple teams. SP has been blessed with a plethora of talent over the years. More than likely they will have a couple candidates next year and at least one the year after that. Is what it is down here.
