I have a question. I was watching the Haywood-Lexington replay and noticed come the chain crew was just made up of regular guys. I thought officials ran the chains beginning in the quarterfinals? Has this changed this year?

I’m not sure, we’ve had the same chain gang for idk how long. The refs were horrible last that PI on Lexington shouldn’t have been called, but after they called it we ran 2 plays and it was 4th down.....

That’s why you play the game. We don’t have the blessings of a D reed or Hines, but we got boys that can ball straight up, and not gone roll over. This group special. A lot of em have lose relatives to Covid, some multiple and being wrote off after an 0-2 start just added fuel to the fire

Didn’t say it would be easy.  Was just responding to the comment on use of athletes now vs Greeneville.  I do think that Greeneville team was one of,  if not the best team in school history.
