This morning, the Wildcats hit the pancakes for breakfast.

The are some linemen who are also pancaking opponents this summer.

 

Ethan Hewitt... participated in a Vol Football Camp.

 

Walter Rice...has a stack of camps lined up.

   June 27: Case Western Reserve

  July 8: Yale

Not only are the Linemen going camping but so did Peyton Sharpe. He attended Vandy yesterday.

Who will be the starting QB? I have no idea. I can see Tarwater getting the most snaps while Peyton starts on Defense.

Upcoming Season Predictions:

SOUTH DOYLE - Loss  (SD has too much coming back and the Cats have too many question marks. If the game was played in October, I would pick the Cats)

BEARDEN - Win (Don't know much about them)

CLINTON - Win  (Improved but not enough to beat the Cats)

FARRAGUT - Loss  (The Admirals have had their way with the Cats in recent years)

LENOIR CITY - Win  (They haven't been very good lately)

POWELL - Loss  (Powell "should" win the state title...too much firepower)

GREENEVILLE - Loss  (They might be 4A but they would beat 99% of all 5A teams this year)

KARNS - Win  (But with their running back, it might not be easy)

KINGSPORT D-B - Win  (Playing them later in the year gives the Cats the edge)

CAMPBELL COUNTY - Win  (They will be a little better but not ready to beat the Cats)

 

REGULAR SEASON  6-4  Second place in the region and will face Powell in the third round in a huge rematch

A very reasonable take on our difficult schedule. Here is my response to your picks.

SOUTH DOYLE is dangerous but look for OR to do something different this year...Ready to fight at week one. WIN. Anybody back in the early 1980's remember Doyle's cheerleader outfits? They looked like they just got off work at Burger King.

BEARDEN is an unknown. WIN.

CLINTON is what Shagnasty is to CoachT. Poop. WIN for Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshmen.

FARRAGUT is a WIN. Time to make the Farragutless Blue Bellies to bow down.

LENOIR CITY is a WIN I will drive up to see.

POWELL. An offense we haven't seen many times before. Our Defense will bring the WIN to VictORy City.

GREENEVILLE. TOSS UP.

KARNS. Bishop is a great RB. OR will have to contain him for a WIN.

KINGSPORT D-B is a team I hate like Farragut. So GRIND a WIN nasty Cats.

CAMPBELL COUNTY is a team thar has earned respect but OR will WIN.

Final Regular Season  9 - 0. Greeneville up in the air. Defense and OL lead us ro Title.

With the news of a dude named Walter Nolen moving to Powell from West Tennessee, OL / DL become even more important.

Ethan Hewitt is doing his part to make the Wildcat lines solid. He recently returned from Camp at Tennessee Tech with confidence. That and with an offer from Presbyterian shows how much grinding Ethan is willing to give.

I also found on Twitter a comment that people need to be ready to see # 77 on defense this season.
