Lol seriously like they said we lost everything. TC has no talent at all at any position the line is bad TC has no RB coming back and have no talent in the sophomore class. TC also doesn't have a QB that can throw the ball 50 yards with the flick of his wrist and no size at WR.

I guess we just need to shut down our football program and concentrate on basketweaving. Maybe Ghost could coach our new Crochet Team?

Thats wild if true.... How does it work? Is every grade set back a year? Do they have to attend school?

Would really think they are putting a year of their future on hold just to play sports. Maybe there are reasons I'm not thinking of I guess.

I might would do it for my son if I lived in Kentucky .He is 17 and graduates this year.Want be 18 till September. He had a pretty good ACT score 29. If there could be a way for kids to take college classes to get a jump start on college would be great while repeating their senior year. Then you never know I kid might get a better offer from a College. There still needs to be a age limit.

Or everyone... Becuase then you got kids at the bigger schools that have worked their butt off sitting the bench for three years  to play their senior year only for a 5th year returning starter to play over them..... sticky situation

If they didnt do it for the Baseball and Basketball players at the start of this crap dont do it for any!Just my opinion,I think it's just freakin stupid. Its high school, supposed to be about educating kids who get the opportunity to play ball while getting ready for this crazy Neal for the Flag World we have.Just another feel good moment and opportunity to show these kids sports mean more than the education.Education is also more than just school work.Getting out in the work force or enrolling in higher Learning----BUT NO let's put that off for another year.SMH!

If I had to choose I'd be against it. Its unfortunate, and I sincerely mean that. We all have had to deal with covid in our own way. But sometimes its just best to push forward and count your losses.

I had a teacher who made each of his kids attend a 5th year of high school. It's hard to argue with the results his kids had I'll just say that. Of course they didn't play sports.

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
    • That's a fair line. But if it's not over, that's a big problem.
    • RR, you think that changes this year, or at least improves? I know they had a couple of talented young receivers last year that made some plays later in the year. Defensive back was a struggle against any team that was above average at throwing the ball.
    • You would think they got a bunch of interest
    • You would think with football just three months away more would be talking. There's only so much a person can say about someone allowing the field to get painted without asking their boss who would have said ((((((((  ALE NO ))))))))) or all the other BULLS#!T they've done as they lead Maryville High into the new age of WOKE in a conversative town. I'm ready for some football news without hearing something coming out of 825 that Power Munger has done to cap off the week.
