Milan at Huntingdon

Huntingdon-Milan may be most hotly contested rivalry in the history of west Tennessee football. I'm 70 years old and can't tell you how many great games I've witnessed over the years. The atmosphere is always electric and the fans aggressive. Our kids live for this game. Can anyone name a more hotly contested rivalry  than this

Now if we could just get said talent healthy we would be fine. I have said it so much I can’t believe people still don’t get it. Hard to win games with 5-6 starters out each game some of which go both ways.

I agree. We also got beat up pretty good last Friday with some more going down. Hopefully they will be ok this coming Friday.

I honestly think the tilbury between Haywood and JCM is.. 100 year rivalry before jcm closed hopefully when they are done playing their jv schedule it can be renewed

Huntingdung is the favorite in this one. I promise you.

I wouldn't be willing to put significant money on this game. Regardless of your injury situation. A win is a win in the Dog and Pony show, and I'll take em how I can get em. But there are no guarantees in this series. I have seen Milan whoop up on us a time or two when they were supposed to be on a "down year"

Knowing how big of a rivalry this is I think both teams will get the other’s best shot. Milan just doesn’t have many bullets in the gun right now. I said against Peabody, South Gibson and Haywood that Milan was in trouble and every week people have said I was sandbagging. Our players and coaches are doing the best they can. Things will get better.
