They are not South Pitt? Upperman lost badly to the #2 team in 1A and they are ranked 7th in 4A.

When you are a 4A school, I would consider a loss to a 1A school “not good.” Better? It was meant as a comparison.

A 4A school should never lose to a 1A school .

Polls are a shot in the dark. How many of the sports writers have seen all these teams play? None. Ws & Ls, stats, are all they have to go by.

Keep a few grains of salt handy.

It doesn’t matter what these polls say anyway. Gordy, Upperman, TC nor H2O is going to win a Gold Ball this year. 
 

Are y’all better than 7… yes, but to get tied up in polls is useless at this point. It all works itself out in November anyway.

I can agree on that… definitely a contender for the number 2 spot. However, I would bet whoever comes out of the west is 3 or 4 TD’s better than anyone in the east.

I have never fallen into the poll hype. Some teams live or die by them and get caught up in the press. It goes to their heads.

Do I think TC is the 2nd best team in the state? No. I think last week knocked us backwards. I am not taking away from gordy. We didn't play well for 4 quarters.  Gordy is good but not even close to their champ team from 2012. That team would beat this team like a drum.
