Mr. Postman1
Westmoreland would be undefeated right bow had it not been for refs calling back tds for ghost holding calls and terrible spots

Thanks for stating the rule again for them. Hey newbie no one is whining about anything. Just never thought I’d see the day TC dodged anybody in football but then again these are strange days we live in.

I don’t understand how you don’t get that Covid was an issue that week. TC didn’t want to take a chance of having an outbreak before a region game. That could be the difference from a region title and being on the road in the playoffs. I’m sure Upperman would have made the same decision. Ask Coalfield if Covid is real and should be taken seriously. They lost their head coach to it and an assistant coach. You don't play with people's lives. That is why the precautions are in place.

That doesn't concern me that much as I'm sure Gville got away with some holds as well. However, I think most will agree that you have to call that when it's that close to the play. The biggest call I had an issue with was the roughing the passer. I feel that wouldn't have been called 99% of the time. Either way though, you have to play so that a few calls don't cause you to lose. In talking to some folks, it seems that TC was up for this game more than they had been all year and their coaching staff did some things that hadn't been seen on film. Kudos to them and their players. SP had 4 TD's called back Friday night on holds 3 of which were 10 or 20 yards behind and away from the play. JACKETFAN90
When you beat Trousdale you rush the field. You tear down goal posts. You jump in the polls. You celebrate. You should. The day you beat Trousdale is a momentous occasion. It’s a cause for celebration. It is a storied moment that will go down in the history of your program. But, understand, when Trousdale beats you... It’s just another Friday night. Go Jackets Let the comments roll
OldTownRoad
The schedule is not very good for Gordonsville going into the last three weeks. A bye week, followed by Red Boiling Springs, is a recipe to come out very flat against Clay County in the Region Championship game.

The other possibility, and we will call that #2 is as follows; Gordonsville has been here before, they are 7-1 and have beaten pretty good teams, held Coalfield to less than 70yds of total offense, in Coalfield, and their one loss was by four points to the #2, or whatever in 2A. They take their experiences of the year, take care of business against RBS and use the very extended time to prepare for the Clay County team. Good teams hate to lose, and I don’t think they will show up flat or nervous and definitely not scared of Clay County. But, possibility #1 is still, by definition, a possibility. I could be wrong but I’m not buying the Clay hype, I think Gville wins that game by 2-3TDs
