West TN Rural Top 10 Week 5

So the rankings have shaken up a bit with Henry Co. taking their 2nd loss. Also Hardin Co. and Riverside go down. 3 top 10 teams with losses have us looking like this almost half way thru the season. 
 

1.  Haywood Co. 3-0

2. Munford 4-0

3.  Henry Co. 2-2

T4.  McKenzie 4-0

T4. Union City 4-0

6.  Milan 4-0

7. South Gibson 3-1

8. USJ 3-1

9. Hardin Co. 3-1

T10. Peabody 3-1

T10. Huntingdung 3-1

Outside Looking In: Dresden 4-0, Covington 3-1, Riverside 3-1, JCS 3-0, Crockett Co. 3-1

What say you all??

I think the top 3 could be swapped in about any order. I think any of 3 teams played each other on a neutral field they would be toss ups.... Just my thoughts. Pretty good list.

Also, I think the overall quality of football that is being played in W. TN. is up. I know overall we still have a long way to go to catch up to the middle and other end of the state but I think it is better today than it was 10 years ago.

Week k 10 matchup between UC and Huntingdon will be a battle as of now this is how it stands:

Union City (4-0)

PF: 193

PA: 45

 

Huntingdon (3-1)

PF: 143

PA: 54

 

Of course I still pick my Tornados but it will be a good game.

Not to be that guy. But Henry county would be 4-0 with Haywood or Mumford schedule. We went touchdown for touchdown with beach. Go beat by 2 field goals. Then Brentwood should be 7-14hc. Brentwood only had 1 scoring drive on their own. A bad snap over the punters head set them up on their own 12 yard line. A missed field goal came back to bite us. I’ll pick the tough schedule over the 4-0 any day.

Yep, theyre a very good team. And how come nobody talks about their RB? Dude is among the best in the area and he's been doing it for 3 years.

Jackson Christian is a very good team. Very solid on both sides. Yes they deserve a nod.
