Whitwell was tough back in the days of Landon Pickett, Cliff Pickett, Dexter Dodson…. they had a heck of team in 69.

Henry Yabourgh (spelling) is still one of the top players to come out of the Valley

I’m picking Whitwell and looks like the Coach up there has them headed in right direction.

I think whitwell is the favorite but I expect it to be close and wouldn't surprise me if SC gets the upset.

I have seen the film on this sale creek team and it's very very sloppy, but they are a downhill team that will run down your throat if they can.  I think this game comes down to the front 7 on Whitwell's defense.

Can Sale Creek put together those 10+ play drives ?  I know it was just a jamboree & Tyner is down,  but I do believe Sale Creek went toe to toe.  Had a 13-15 play drive.  It ended in a missed FG I think, but still.  Those type drives eat a lot of clock,  takes wind out of your opponents sails, shortens the game and gives you the best chance at times. 

If Sale Creek maintains drives, I like their chances.   The Fitz effect could be the difference.

They could put together some long drives, but I think that this game is a good one if our defensive line can do what they have been.  Our front 7 has been really good this year, and I think they have what it takes to stuff their offense.  Sale Creek runs a two back offense with downhill running and the occasional spread.  I like our chances to win, just because of that close game with a not great Chatt Prep team.
