The voters have voted Bradley Bears Number 1 that is why they are listed number 1. They total up the points and that is the winner. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

It's very hard to argue with that logic.  Polls are nice for the kids and parents to look at but in reality the old saying about teets on a boar comes to mind.  I'm really hoping for a Boo Bears vs Oakland matchup in the semis this year.  Ain't either team a slam dunk to get there though.

I don't think Bradley could win many games against middle and west TN top dogs. Polls are a joke, but good for conversations like this. Bradley won't even make it to the semifinals to even let the number 1 and 2 team to decide who's number 1. It is a good Cinderella story for Bradley this season tho.

Who are the "top dogs" besides Oakland. Don't give me any of those D-II schools.

If we're limiting this to 6A, I would say Oakland, Riverdale, Brentwood Germantown, Collierville,  Houston. Idk if I'd consider them "top dogs" but that's the best of Middle & West. Bradley would probably only be a underdog against Oakland, the rest of them are 50-50. Bradley v Riverdale would probably look like an arena league game

very decent chance the results of fridays contest will adjust the top of that pole......thinkin Oakland or BC are both closely challenge and could both endure a L....home field may be all that saves them....

....but Booger Greasy & Oakland until the crown is removed

Booger just sayin

Booger you should come over to the small ball boards and check out my poll. I would be glad to let you see it. BPM has one of the biggest and best looking polls there is. :)

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
