  1. Thanks Peabody. There are a whole lot of hurt kids and parents over here. It is sad when someone from another school understands Grace more than the administration at our Christian school. Christians are not perfect. But when hypocrites walk around thinking people are supposed to be perfect, and 15 to 17 year old makes a mistake they crucify that child and cast them into a desert all alone is wrong. I tell you now. I am not perfect but I am perfect in Gods eye because his son Jesus died for me and rose to wash ALL my sins. He does not cast me out when I fall. He pulls me Closer by placing people in my life to help me and love me. I love these boys on this team and they are not alone. Boys you have people that love you and have your back even when your school doesn’t. And our love goes to all players the ones who played last night and especially the ones who were not allowed to be with their brothers last night. Stay strong!!!!

  2. You mean we need to throw the ball a lot like we did the 3 yrs before Coach came when we were 5-6, 3-7 and 1-9. Those were some fun teams to watch that you played on.

  3. My hats off to Peabody on their win Friday night. Those boys had their backs against the wall and they played like they were on a mission. I may offend some folks here, but the Peabody team I saw last night was the best team that TCA has faced all season long. I am just sorry we did not give the Golden Tide a better game, but our issues are well documented. I won't get into those issues here, but I pray that we can find some resolution in the coming days. I would also like to say to the folks at Peabody that I believe you have the finest overall facility for high school football that I have seen since I have lived in Tennessee. As a broadcaster, I appreciate the thought that was put into the design of the press box. I had a great view and was very comfortable as well. The entire facility was well designed, clean, and very fan friendly. Great stands with a good view, large rest room facilities, and a very good concession stand area. The band that was entertaining alumni before the game was very good as well. I was very well treated by everyone at Peabody. The fans were very cordial and I appreciate Coach Jacobs reaching out to me after the game. Good luck the rest of the way.

  7. 2A- Gavin Stanfield QB Waverly. Have led the Tigers to another Region title and a 7-1 record (undefeated in the Region), only loss came to 10-0 Huntingdon. Stats through week 10: 101 of 139 with 2366 yards passing, 38 touchdowns and 320 rushing yards. Might I add he is only a junior. Set a school record for touchdowns in a game, earlier in the season with 7.

  10. Coach Caine and Sequatchie Co. players and fans proved again what a class act program they have in Dunlap. I would hope if the rolls were reversed that we would have acted the same way.

  14. I haven't had a chance to see them this year and only twice the year before. I figured with it being these two teams EN would keep it somewhat close. But y'all did what you do. Y'all must finally be pretty healthy and ready to make a deep run. Good luck the rest of the way.

  15. I think you will make a nice little run to the quarterfinals again. Once again you guys should be proud of those seasons. Without a doubt.. I remember the days where Columbia Academy was just an afterthought. They have came a very long way. Charlie has done a nice job. It's all of that Coach McAdams roots coming out in him.

  18. Glad y'all beat that state power Station Camp last night. Still beating your chest over winning against a 1-7 team. Pathetic.

  19. I came pretty close to the score. Covington is the real deal. They are the best team we have played this year. I knew this would be a good game. Congrats to the Chargers. I said Covington -3.5 if you took Covington you covered!

  22. Could be a good game. That Maryville defense does have some holes in it, but they're offense is really good. That QB is the real deal. I'm going with Maryville by 14, close game with Maryville putting it away late.

  26. They'll be none of that. It's been hard for me to get excited about this game - imagine some of the players. A&M's program is as secretive as butch's and that makes anticipation non-existent. BC and murvil will go thru the motions tonight picking on several local county kids while thinking about next week's biggest game of the year. Hairtage is well enough coached to know what they need to do. Can they execute enough to be in the game late? Or will they simply expose more of murvil's weaknesses for the tough kids down the valley next week? I think murvil has too much offense again, but don't be surprised if for at least a while everyone's sleepwalking or staring at their phones for wb updates. MURVIL IS THE WINNING TEAM! HAIRTAGE IS THE LOSING TEAM! FLAGS SHOULDN'T BE HANDED OUT TO SOME OF THESE REFEREES! 42-17 IS THE SCOREBOARD! Murvil goes for two late for old times sake. I hope everyone enjoys watching the kids compete tonight.

  27. the two teams from 14-A forfeited their region games. Not sure if it was because of the two hour drive or not. No real reason was given to the local media. That allows Westview and McKenzie go to the sectional level without playing anyone from 14. Raleigh-Egypt and a couple others have played this season(Region 8) but whether the second place team out of region 8 will travel or not remains to be seen. REgypt is the only one I can find info on at all and that is a schedule that shows they were to host the district championship. No result seen. So if I took a wild guess, I would say the loser of tonights game of Westview vs McKenzie will end up going to R-Egypt and the winner would get a forfeit into state. This will surely have to be prevented in the future.
