I haven’t seen Covington since preseason but they are definitely capable of throwing it. Dyersburg QB going down is my reasoning for picking Covington.

I watched the first Dyersburg vs Covington game in person. The front 7 for Dburg shut down the Covington run game completely and they had no answer passing the ball. The question will be what adjustments will Covington make to give their qb time to throw the ball?  Running on the Trojans is a tall task and Kalen Edwards, the big boy up for Mr. Football, lives in opposing teams backfields.

I think Covington takes down Dyersburg this week. Henry Co with 4 stops inside the 2 and driving the entire field for the win is really impressive.

Dyersburg losing their starting qb a couple of weeks ago really hurt them against Martin. But mainly he was a starting db as well. Martin made some plays in the passing game. I don’t know if Covington can do the same thing. Westview is a passing team. Covington isn’t. Will be a great game that I think can go either way.

Henry Co. has beaten some really good teams this year.  1 loss was to a team that very well play for 6A gold ball and it was only by 3pts. But Southwind really impressed me last week. They are undefeated and very well May beat Henry Co. Henry Co barely beat Beech in the regular season and Southwind handled Beech with ease. This will be a great game as well.

  3. 1.  Henry Co. 11-1 W 46-42 over Hendersonville

    T2.  Dresden 12-0 W 49-14 over Middle College

    T2.  Stanks 11-1 W 49-20 over Milan

    4.  Dyersburg 12-0 W 21-18 over Westview

    5.  Riverside 10-2 W 33-7 over Peabody

    6.  Hardin Co. 11-1 L 23-45 to Marshall Co.

    7.  Haywood 10-2 W 47-26 over Millington

    8.  McKenzie 11-1 W 43-0 over Collinwood

    9.  Covington 10-2 W 38-6 over Ripley

    10.  Union City 9-3 W 35-34 over MASE

Outside Looking In:  Trinity 8-3, JCS 10-2, Westview 7-5, Munford 8-3, Milan 9-3, South Gibson 8-3

Lots of movement this last week. Some movement because of season ending losses and some because of dominating wins. Some movement because of underwhelming performances in the win but the name of the game at this point is survive and advance. Are these the top 10 teams in West TN?

That's probably the closest to complimenting Huntingdon you've ever come! Haha. Thanks.

You guys got a tough team. Just didn't catch the breaks in this game. Came out and punched us in the mouth in the first quarter. Had me worried for a bit, to be honest. But this Mustang team didn't fold like some in the past would have. They punched back and it was all Mustangs after the 1st.

We didn't come out really sharp and Milan took advantage. Good teams fight back though, and that's what we did tonight. We've heard all week how it's hard to beat good teams twice.. Now we gotta do it again next week.

The 2 interceptions in the first half were killers.

Well, its almost that time. The kids are heading to Dyersburg feeling confident in a bounce back from last game. Like I said earlier this week if we don't turn the ball over, we have a good chance to leave with the upset of the year. No doubt Dyersburg is a great team, but the QB/FS loss is going to be obvious tonight. Look for the passing attack to be in full affect tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if we put it in the air 40 times tonight. Go Chargers!

Just check out that pigeon toe. Yall really need to change the bloodlines over there, getting a bit disgusting. Even the women are hard to look at. This picture is giving me "BPM at the buffet trying to figure out how to fit all the food on his plate" vibes.

You should see me with a to go box at the Chinese buffet in Milan. Moses parted the Red Sea… BPM fit 13.62lbs of food in one to go box…
