Dresden vs Humboldt

Ysoangry, we at Humboldt understand. Our kids have been called many names in the past, and I think we've just learned to ignore it and simply play ball. At least I hope that's the case! You have a great team in Dresden and everyone knows it. We are confident in our team, too. I expect a great game by two great teams. As for the refs, like Forrest said, you never know what you are gonna get. I also hope they don't inject themselves in the game and that they aren't attention hogs. If they have to call penalties, I pray they'll BE FAIR! There can't be holding on just ONE team out there and there can't be a mysterious holding call after a team runs for a long td!!! Those phantom calls kill me! So, I just want a cleanly called game, and I hope our Vikings have the higher score at the end of the night. :thumb:

Vike the king, I'm soangry because our team is smaller, slower, not as aggressive, cant play four quarters, umpa loopas, cant take hits, unsportsmanlike, thugs and they are fat.

Those names are hurtfull and it makes me sad. :( Sorry to all the teams we beat this year, maybe the TSSAA should quit keeping score and give all the boys medals at the end of the season so we all can be winners and get along. :flower:

NOT!!!!

I tell you what. We will win and it'll all be over shortly. No more name calling, crying and unsportsmanlike conduct. Vikings will put an end to this for you. Go ahead and thank us now. :roflol:

everyone get to the game early against humboldt. They do this leg kicking "karate yell" drill that would make the rockets proud. hayyyyy ya. love it. Got that remember the titans thing going. Get em some sparkly outfits and humboldt will become the next " off broadway " hit. 6 more days to prep. lions

Humboldt WILL be karate kicking their butts all the way to state... too bad dresden wont be there to see it.

Here we go Vikings!!! Prove your point with power, speed and execution. Have great practices this week. The weather is suppose to be near perfect until game night whent it's going to be cold. Can't wait to see what the coaches have instore for Friday Night Lights.

Now Dresden, we Viking Fans are going to be on the look out for sudden changes in the defense: Hint, Hint. We have binoculars and wanted photos in the programs. :roflolk:

No need for binoculars & wanted photos, you better believe the refs will be on the lookout for him. Heck, they're looking for any reason to throw a flag or eject someone. Forget what's going on out on the field. :roflol:

I saw the game at McKenzie. Dresden is not a group of oompas or fat boys. #86 is a beast! # 40 is super active. #77 gets after you on defense. #56 plays great on both sides of the ball. #10 is a solid player. #34 has a huge heart and runs downhill. #23 has jets for feet and can run like the wind. And the quarterback is an AMAZING player. Our guys over in Humboldt are working hard and I can assure you that they are not taking this Dresden team or this game lightly. Our coaches will work hard and help the boys understand the plan just like they have every week of the season. Our kids will not be calling names or disrespecting the Lions. They don't like it when others call us Scumboldt or other personal derogatory terms. Our kids went to McKenzie the other night as a group and represented our team and our town with class. They love their coaches and their coaches love them. They work hard and feed off each other. It will be a tough game, but it should be fun to watch. I am picking the Vikings! GO HUMBOLDT!!!

Well I like the oompa loompa dupity doomp. And Charlie and all that so I wasn't going to call them that. I just want to say they took a loss Friday Nov 11th, :roflol: and it sounds like those Vikings will be preparing and placing a lot of heart in the game.

Go Vikings Beat Dresden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought they were the Humboldt VIKINGS!

You should check your quotes before you direct something like that toward a Viking. That quote came from one of your enemies down by the river. No need to call us names, we are the bad sheep of our county and we get it all the time.

But being the "bad sheep" we have things to prove, so the fire is already in our eyes. You can keep your name calling to your own peeps.

We are here to talk football, do a little trash talking and not put down our children.

Find you somewhere else to go.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
