pujo
I could see a few teams wanting to move down, but I'm not sure any would want to move up. I'm sure alot of teams would want to dodge Maryville The whole thing looks pretty stupid to me.

Stewarts Creek, Brentwood, and Southwind are other teams that would want to move up so they keep most of their games with local rivals
NonUTFan
This plan is a joke. It is all about money for the TSSAA. Travel times will increase for schools which will result in less revenue, but the TSSAA will keep their 8 state champs and playoff money. I thought they were suppose to act in the best interest of the majority? Have they ever? Come Jerry you have been around long enough to know better, T$$AA their motto is "Show me the money!" ScottShasteen
If the regions were to shake out like this midtennfootball.com I would be stunned if Tullahoma didn't play up to 5A. No way they don't join Coffee, Franklin, Lincoln, Shelbyville, Columbia if they have the opportunity. With Cane Ridge and Glencliff. Stewarts Creek would request to move up I suspect so they can stay with the other Rutherford teams. Don't know if Lawrence Co. would move up or not. If they didn't that would leave an 8-team Region 5-5A. I like it.
Governm
The whole shebang? If Maryville wasn't in 6A I think we would have a shot. Would Maryville even be able to come to 6A if we didn't move down?

GWAVE1
The more competitive you are, the better chance you have at advancing into the playoffs. You think Warren County, Bolton, or Bartlett wants to get their brains beat in every year just for the sake of making the 1st round of the playoffs when they have a better chance of competiting in 5A? Personally, I wish they would open it up and give every team a chance to volunteer to play in 6AThose teams don't compete in 5-A either. Why not have a guaranteed 11th game just to make money? SweetScience
Why not? This Super 6 deal is pretty much a done deal from my understanding.
