Is the entire restructuring only happening to provide the T$$AA with more $$ because all the biggest schools would now have at least one playoff game; the T$$AA gets more $$ from the playoff games; and the assumption is the biggest schools will have bigger crowds (sell more tickets)?

I will say this though.  If Maryville gets "stuck" in 5A and only has five region games, I hope they use the opportunity to go play an out of state team.

I dont think it was a conspiracy but they should have had enough teams where they all didnt automatically get in. Maybe 8 regions avging 6 teams, with top 4 in, even if they have fewer teams than the other classes due to being larger.

Careful there, RR.....for all we know, Ridge and Quarles have already talked and WB has agreed to swap with MHS, would you still feel that way then?

I feel that there shouldn't be 32 teams that are considered special. Take 16 to the playoffs and I don't have as much of a problem.

Why can't we just do 5 class and two private classes? 1. A 0-400 AA 401-650 AAA 651-900 AAAA 901-1300 AAAAA 1301 plus. Put a 1.8 multiplier to open zoned pay tuition schools. Let anyone who want bump up as long as the 8 regions stay relatively equal. 7-8 team per region, top 4 get in. Set the payoffs up like they used to be were regions match certin other area regions in playoffs. 2. Two private school divisions, big and small.

Maryville wanting to move up is coach speak. Those coaches are tickled to death to be in 5a. It's about trophies not competition. IMO
