Yes Indian. These regions with 8 or 9 teams is too much. Many of your natural rivalries will go away in this system. This newest thing is a joke. The way it is now was better than this system.

That's a myth perpetuated by Jasper. Besides, its not like there are 30 schools in 20 mile radius to pick up a QB in the off season . . . like at Austin-East.

Until they went to a classification system for basketball in Indiana, they had the BEST tournament bar none.  You do realize that all teams participate in the Tennessee tournament don't you?  At least in Indiana, it's a one and done tournament like it should be.  It is wrong that you can lose three tournament games and still be called state champion.  It' just wrong.

I'm for  one loss and out in Basketball tournaments.

I see the districts in 2A like this:

East: 3 Districts

Middle: 2 Districts

1 Middle/West District

West: 2 Districts (One of which would be mostly Memphis schools)

The Middle/West District would be something like Hickman Lewis Waverly McKenzie Scott's Hill Riverside... Of course, I am just guessing. But, that would make for a very competitive district in my eyes.

Union City needs to move up to 2A to give the Tornadoes a regular Blue Cross Bowl opponent

it will never happen. Union city controls their numbers. Once they hit 399 they send the rest to the 4a school 8 miles down the road.
