Whose better? Take a look at state championships.

Football: Wave 3 & 3 runner-up Bison 0

Boys Basketball: Wave 1 & 1 runner up Bison 0

Girls Basketball: Wave 2 Bison 0

Cross Country: Wave 2 Bison 0

Track: Wave 6 individual titles Bison 0

Bowling: Wave 1 runner up Bison 0

Most trips to TSSAA HOF: Wave 3 Bison 0

Wave players watch out, Bison asst coach promising playing position and scholarship offers if you move to station camp. #Bisonlies

Truth is Green Wave have had four players make NFL rosters. Two have played nearly 10 years in the league and one earned a Super Bowl ring.

Go Green Wave

I bet you do. And given much of the attitude I routinely see on here and in real life that people have towards "Memphians", I wouldn't blame them one d*** bit for wanting to leave the TSSAA. Not sure why they would want to go to Mississippi though, seems like an independent city league would be more feasible.

Could you imagine the security costs that would be allocated for each game if Memphis had a independent city leauge?

The security cost would not change for a Memphis City League game over what they have today. They pretty much just play each other except when forced to play other schools. They would draw for basketball and football attendance would be a joke.
