They had less than a hundred at the home game in Memphis Friday! I think Willie has been pretty respectful the past couple of weeks. From some of his post earlier in the year saying all schools tweak grades and stuff like that for players is where I thought my god what's wrong with this man but he has simmered down and has some pretty respectful post to those opposing teams. We can't do anything about the investigation so why keep bringing it up. These kids for both teams are playing for something that they can hold their head high for the rest of their life. Everyone should keep it clean and keep the shots directed toward the kids out of it. Show some class a represent your schools with some respect. Marion seems like they are some classy people some of the Memphis posters are showing no respect! Some that don't have a dog in this race also is showing no respect. I'm my book says a lot about you and your program!

+1. My mom and dad taught me to be respectful and it is hard to do sometimes. Some must not have emphasized that to their kids.

Someone enlighten me on why fans traveling is so important to you fellas. You guys always focus on everything but the game when Trezevant or other Memphis teams make it this far. Let these kids shine just like you want yours to without all this bs about "Memphis City Schools", being safe, and how they travel. Come Saturday at kickoff, none of that matters. Shame on y'all with your dog whistle statements!

+1 They just gotta have something to complain about. They act like the money at the gate is going to them, most of them dislike and talk down on the T$$AA anyway but will use this as an opportunity to spew more "dog whistle comments" like u said.

lol......when trezevant has half as many gold and silver as Marion then they can talk. You are a joke. This team doesn't have morale victories. The Marion program isnt a flash in the pan like Trezvant is, they have been around for a long time and not yet has the fan base turned its back on the kids. Not during the four silvers or four gold balls that are in the trophy case, or even the lean years in the early 2000s. Better team will win on Saturday, thats the bottom line. No excuses from me.

Marion isn't a flash in the pan is neither is Trezevant. What these guys has accomplished over the last six years has been remarkable. They have made Trezevant a household name when it comes to HS football but Trezevant has been making noise and they will be a force to be reckoned with in 3A for the next four years.

What's class on a message where you are supposed to be able to express yourself how you see fit. Just because a brother or other expresses themselves differently than you doesn't mean they lack class. Check yourself. Anyway, someone tell me about T-High's qb play? What about Marion Co. Secondary? Do they have any serious athletes or can T-High run Go Routes past them as they wish?

Let me refresh your memory. The talk was that the games should be moved from Cookeville, and that the stadium didn't have to be that big, it was never filled. After some discussion, Willie ( Trez supporter) posted that they (Trez) travelled better than TCA. Look to your man to spark that debate.

I said compare the size of Trezevant's school zone with whatever county and do the math it will tell you we travel just as well. Don't know the exact numbers but say if trezevant has 1000 homes in their zone and 200 travel thats 20% if a county has 7,500 and 1500 travel thats 20% so who travels better. Whitehaven does much better in percentages than most counties.

Ok classification is based on enrollment.  Trez is by far one of the most populous schools in 2A and will be in 3A next year.  They barely made the cut for this brief two year stint in 2A.  If Trez has 600 kids and MC has 515 then you should have a bigger inherent fan base it pretty simple math.  Doesn't really matter to me should be a great game hopefully MC will win.

Hunting and fishing is good from what I hear...Not a spare minute to experience it myself in years.

I've had Trezevant and Marion County ranked 1 and 2 this entire season. I had a big gap between those spots, but I'm not sure that's the case this season. An injured Richardson will really hurt Trezevant in this game.
