I agree. RE had a great season and should hold their head high! I hope Grandberry gets to play some big boy ball. He is a player for sure.

Congrats to my Chargers. I started this thread off saying they have been underrated all year. Tonight proved that, as RE was a slight favorite going into the game.

Another trip to the Semi-finals for Covington. One win away from a trip to Cookeville. C

And, as Millions said, Raleigh Egypt has nothing to be ashamed of. They had a great season. My brother-in-law played for Raleigh Egypt over 30 years ago, then went on to play for the Memphis Tigers, so there is a connection somewhere there.

I really thought Covington would win, but I didn't imagine them winning by this score. I heard that the QB from covington threw a couple of good passes for TDs in the game. RE had a great season no doubt! Absolutely nothing to hand their head on! 

 

What did the 2 backs do for covington tonight? Also, what did the R back from RE do? I wasn't able to make it like I hoped so I need somebody to tell me how this one played out.

RE will need to schedule some tougher competition next year to be able to advance . I think it showed tonight,they played no one all year except Arlington. Bolivar and SG both turned it over several times against them or they may have lost those games .

 Off thread but if my Maryville team is fortunate enough to slip by big bad Oakland I sure would enjoy matching up with you folks in Cookeville. It's a fine rivalry and one I enjoy.
