FANLESS HIGH SCHOOL GAMES

I think it will be set by state recommendations but left up to counties as to what happens. That's what I've heard by people in the know several times. As to what that means, who knows? However, if players can be in constant contact with each other on a play by play basis then why couldn't fans sit in the stands? Risk, reward type of ordeal.

I'm with you, I'd gladly go back to the usual seating standard even if masks or temperature was required of me to enter the seating area. I'd absolutely hate to miss a football season as a fan. And I'd hope I would get the option to decide for myself if I wanted to take that chance or not. That's just me though.

If the good Lord says its my time to go at the hands of contracting Covid-19, what better way for it to happen than sitting next to my family and  friends on a Friday night at Beene Stadium watching the Pirates play. High school football is special.

Yeah, you cant live in fear.

I'll go in a full hazmat suit if that is what it takes to watch football.

Will be a head scratcher if kids are not in school and not playing ball. Will be an unacceptable head scratcher if kids are in school and no ball is played with or without fans.  Looks like colleges and pros will be playing.

We probably need to be more concerned with the governor's executive order prohibited contact sports because without that removed there should be no discussion about fans.

Assistant director of TSSAA made comment some stadiums will open with full capacity while some wont on Mon.So if the "New rise in cases the media is blowing up again" doesnt shut school down some of us will get to go.

It doesn't matter what the TSSAA says when the Governor of the state of Tennessee has a order that prohibits the playing of contact sports in the state including football.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
