I have seen several posts saying different schools were playing then not playing. Some closed for a few weeks. I hope this thread will serve as a centralized location for who is doing what.  Please help us see the roadmap.

i have heard rumors about Houston County and Huntington shutting down.

Cant go around the two week rule.First game is a goner and more than likely game 2.It is what it is.

Forgot that whoevers decision it was to not let them practice, knocked them out of being eligible to play right away as well. None of it a fault of the school or coaches.

You can’t really say until kickoff each week. The 14 day mandatory quarantine TSSAA put in effect with the governor’s health experts can kill any player or team any minute. Somebody in history class tests positive and they contact trace Everyone in your class and you could lose 3 lineman and two running because of where they sit. Smart move now is for all football players to go virtual through the season and eliminate that risk.

I spoke with Coach Meadows yesterday.   Houston County will begin school on Monday going 100% virtual.   Their Administration determined that since it is too dangerous to be in the building then it's too dangerous to play other teams.   He's going to give me a heads up when/if things change.

Unless the players are in masks.
