For Alcoa's schedule, EVERY 5A, 6A and D2 in the East Tennessee area was approached. Amazingly teams that turned Alcoa down....scheduled Maryville? Powell and Science Hill. Powell and Alcoa would be a good game to see. I'm pretty sure the way Maryville played in the last game may have given some teams that have the ability some possible hopes of doing the same. A lot of money and a heck of a lot of backing will leave Maryville high and dry if they let these outsiders that never attend games that live off from here that went to school there which were normally known as the Black Sheep get their way in a name change. If that happens you'll see Maryville become an average Joe and no longer a powerhouse. Takes money and support to have the things Maryville is used too and they'll find out fast after that disappears what a foolish mistake they made.
