The craziest thing though is you got butthurt and I didn’t say anything negative about the team. Saying they are young in key spots and the coaches would have to coach well isn’t a slight. Maybe you should try knitting since you’re way too emotional to discuss HS sports? 

Ok playerscoach so honest question from a neutral party. How do you know your connections know the team better than these Alcoa posters?  The Alcoa posters may be assistant coach, qb club members or people at the school that know the team inside and out. Serious question for debate.

Because nobody you named knows the team better than who I talked with. :) Regardless, all the silly attacks over my benign statements show a severe lack of EQ. Especially considering I was not critical of the team or it’s coaches.

I would be interested to see some discussion of their pre-season evaluations. As a Covington fan, I like being recognized, but it's a little early for us to get a ranking that high, I think. I'm very surprised that Dyersburg is not in their top 15. I understand that they are expected to be pretty tough.

 

 

 

 

Startford is way to low. With the New QB they should be 3 or 4.

oline - jr/sr/sr/soph or jr/jr

te-looks to be freshman

qb-sr

Rb - soph or jr or sr depending on who starts 

rec- sr -sr -jr. Not very young as far as starters on offense

 defense 

dline  3 - jrs I believe

 lbs jr-jr-jr-soph

dbs jr-sr-jr-soph or sr

not very young on defense either

correct me if I’m wrong

Fact. And the one Freshman you mentioned is probably one of the best players on the field. :thumb:

      That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)

      Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.

      Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
