Probably. We don't hold our Quarterbacks back a grade move kids in from Jackson then avoid the competition we scheduled. Keep public perception going y'all are "classy" your true colors have shown in 2021. I always knew it wasn't black and gold that's Yella.

Who from jackson is on the team ?   You must have been one of the west Carroll guys on Facebook shedding tears when Peabody announced they were going to 1a.
why aren’t you guys crying about south Pitt Fayetteville or mckenzie being in 1a ? If Peabody isn’t in 1a you aren’t beating those teams either. I bet you are fan  of participation trophies.  CRY HARDER

Yep next we'll hear about how y'all dropped so you wouldn't have to play Memphis teams. Everyone knows Memphis is the only place to find a game. You can say what you want, we'll never be the team who was so scared of our opponent we payed them not to play.

Lake county doesn't run or hide from any opponent or school regardless how big or how small! We had ensworth scheduled for this year and they have a student enrollment of 1041 and we have barely 220. The only reason it was canceled is because ensworth didnt want to come our way and play next year, so what did we do? We scheduled Haywood county with all 858 students 4 times lake county's size in their place. Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime! We dont run, we don't hide

I went in and dig some numbers schools playing bigger schools (enrollment size) that are quality football teams. An enrollment difference fewer then 200 students does not classify as a "playing a bigger school"

What determines a quality football team?

A team that won minimum 4 football games in each 2019 and 2020 seasons or above .500 record in one of the two seasons. And, that team has to reach the playoffs in one of the two seasons.

*Number in parenthesis represents the difference in schools based on enrollment*

Lake County vs Haywood (713)

Dyersburg vs Dyer County (418) and Munford (491)

Riverside vs McNairy Central (393) and Lexington (491)

Milan vs Hardin County (486)

Adamsville vs Hardin County (528)

USJ vs Hardin County (791)

Covington vs Munford (440) and Brighton (456)

Dburg played up a classification and won a game? Didn't think that was possible.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
