I agree.    We haven't played well enough at this point to be a top 5 team.

A little of both.  We kicked off to open the game and it went out of bounds at their 49.  First play, we decided to jump offsides so they started at our 40.  And of course, they scored. So that kind of set the tone.  We looked sluggish on the defensive side of the ball.  But, on our last drive in the 4th, we looked good.  We drove the field, chewed up the clock, scored and made it a two possession game.

Great teams Will Have a off night , it’s what happens when the cards are on the table in the 4th that can make a good team great or a great team average !!! A win is a win and sometimes it takes a hard fought win to awake a sleeping giant “ just ask the Tide”

It was a definitely a hard fought win.  Dresden came out and punched us in the mouth and we needed that punch.

Cornersville had two key players out vs Clay County. Cornersville was at full strength against Fayetteville City and FC's  best RB was out. Clay County will argue they "had key players out" too. But Cornersville has very little depth. Their front 7 on defense is as strong and good as anyone in 1A but all play both ways and there is a big drop off when the subs have to play.
