Fayetteville City travels to 4A Red Bank

Red Bank usually has a decent team but falters in the playoffs. Their coach said in the paper that they weren't playing well to start the season but the past few games they've taken it up a notch. That's a big jump in classification for City but I wouldn't worry too much about it in the long run. They'll still be playing long after Red Bank probably

That may have been true through 2016 but not the past 4 years.  However they bumped into Alcoa last year in the semis last year and 2017. . .  Loudon in 3rd in 2019 . . . Upperman in 3rd in 2018 . . . Upperman was pretty good that year.

South Pittsburg played Redbank in the Jamboree this year. At the end of the Qtr Redbanks Coach told our  Coach's "I don't know what yall are doing down there but our Boys are worn out already.  Your guys are fast and never stop running

We couldn't go much more like this

... fact.

I hope Spitt gets to see Fayetteville again this year

Jamboree don’t mean crap

That is perhaps the funniest thing I have heard.  It was the jamboree after all and it Seems a lot has changed since the jamboree.  Fayetteville is better than last year and yall aren't.  I assume they are probably quite a bit better than dade or north jackson. If yall make it that far my guess would be Peabody, Fayetteville isn't beating them......fact

Fayetteville isn’t better than last year as far as what I can tell from the games I’ve watched

Agreed, no disrespect to City at all, if The Rebs and city meet up Taylor will go for a couple hundred and Cassidy is a dual threat stud as well, one week at a time is the goal, but it’s nice to talk the hypotheticals as well, City is a very good, maybe even great team, whoever, there was a big separation between Peabody the Rebels and the rest of 2A last year !  We all have our weakness this year, Peabody is giving up to many points to good teams, Well compared to previous Tide teams, no homer here I know we have a heck of a tough game this week, I guess I would say a 12 round heavyweight boxing make in a phone booth is the best way to describe it ! Good luck to all and hope we all make the playoffs as injury free as possible

From what I seen RB’s line both offensively and defensively was having their way with City’s line.  Plus RB wanted it more it appeared.   It wouldn’t have mattered if KJ played.  This kind of loss may just fire them up so beware West teams.

it sure didn't help that RB's defense was in our backfield more than our running backs.  We were a hot mess, both offensively and defensively, and special teams as well.  Two trips inside the 12 and got nothing.  Muffed punt return.  Tipped pass that ended up in another WR's hands for six.  60 + yard run by RB that he was hit at least five times and didn't wrap him up. You'd think we'd been off for a week or that it was Week 1 game again.  We were flat and played uninspired football.

Still have two games on the schedule to make a statement, and both are district games.  We'll bounce back, and hard.

We will have to play lake county again and maybe a good team shows up out of Memphis and if we get far enough maybe mckenzie or Fayetteville
