1A and 2A FAVORITES FOR THE CHOO CHOO BOWL

1A west - Fayetteville or Peabody. Peabody has the best route far not having to play tough teams until the semis unless one of those Memphis schools are any good. 
 

1A east - Gordy or South Pitt for the east could see Gordy sneaking by solid ball club but can never doubt South Pitt 

McKenzie could still be there at the end but I think they might not get past Cornersville due to how physical Cornersville is but McKenzie speed is their one benefit in this game.  
 

Fayetteville vs Dresden is a sneaky good matchup for round 2. those long bus ride down to Fayetteville could play a factor for everybody out west tho. 
 

1A west has a ton of really good potential matchups.

Both 1A and 2A state champs will be from the West. Every freaking year Meigs County Is favored and they get their butts whipped. Huntingdon or Westview will beat Meigs handily. Okay 2A : if Huntingdon doesn’t turn the ball over they will beat any 2A team.  Yes they will beat Westview barring turnovers.  State champs 2021 Peabody and Huntingdon.  My disclaimer is if Huntingdon has turnovers Westview will win.  Bottom line the 1A and 2A belong in the west .  East can dream again

I can say with almost 100% certainty that Peabody was favored against Meigs last year.

I think Mckenzie has shown they're the team to beat in the West. No disrespect to Peabody or Fayetteville, and all have been good, but Mckenzie seems to have been more consistent this year. They don't have the headscratching scores like the other two. No one else in the West will come close to these 3.

In the East, of course I'm going to say Gordonsville. But, I think realistically, there's only 3 teams in the East with a chance; Gville, SP, and Clay.
