There was a lot more to Cummings leaving Oak Ridge than complaining parents.......a lot more.

Nick Saban couldn't have won 2 games at HVA this year. HVA was 1-9 as they were the year before but they were in three games that were close and scored 123 to the other teams 292. The year before they scored 93 points and allowed 379 which improved with the new coach from Oak Ridge. HVA came to play Maryville and I doubt they had 40 players that night but they did stand toe to toe with our JV team and outplayed them in the second half of our game with them. Looks as if this thread will continue on until someone spills the beans on what happened at Captain D's instead of saying there was more to it. More to it don't mean nothing, Captain D's tells me something happened there, maybe he got bad service or some bad fish and didn't like it.

They’re about extinct anymore, though. There’s only a few left in the Knoxville area. They used to be great, but management has really faltered the past 15+ years.

I love what Spencer did for Oak Ridge Football. Would he make a good head coach for OR now?  It would be COOL if he would.

Rankin could get the thing fixed for sure, he don't need to be wasting time at that little private school in Chattanooga. There is just a limit how far you can go with a private school especially since this NIL came about. Never mind his age he'll  put in half a day coaching on Judgement Day.
