If so then all their doing is going from the oven to the frying pan. Why would one outsider be better than another. This is a small school with barley 200 kids and so small it has to allow 8th graders to be just big enough to have a full eleven on the hamburger squad not to mention the town so small everyone knows each other personally. If a couple of people don't all the sudden like somebody then the next thing you know someone calls an emergency town meeting to decide the faith of the football coach. My suggestion is to stay with your own people. Maybe someone has a burr in their saddle over him leaving but you double someone's pay and see if your not gone in sixty seconds. He knows what to do there plus he wouldn't have Casteel in his way everytime someone even thought of coming there to play.

Couldn't say it better,but Ryan is in the mix for sure NO DOUBT!But some may let personal issues stand in the way to HIRE THE BEST CANDIDATE AND THE MOST IMPRESSIVE RESUME IN THE WHOLE LOT!That being said I've heard a couple weeks before announcement!I pray they get it right.

Maybe someone at Greenback making this decision needs to be reminded about The time Scott Meadows would have came back to William Blount but someone there also had a stick up their azz and went and brought in the biggest B.S. Artist ever to come to East Tennessee and you see what happened there.

And he ruined an already wounded football program that may be beyond repair!We do not need that!

I’d be willing to bet you boys have several capable candidates.  I heard these things at Jasper back in the day. “Bring back Colquette.” There is more than one way to skin a cat and there is more than one single football coach that can win at different schools. Have faith that the admin makes a good hire.  From what I’ve been told, they could go a number of directions and do just fine.

It has been a minute. What's going on with Coaching search. I heard Coach Ryan might have them held hostage while former Coach Justin Ridge tries to slide him in the backdoor at Eagleton.

Hire someone that wants to be there for a long time. That’s one of the keys to small school programs.
