The Alabama High School Athletic Association Super 7 State Football Championships are one of the most exciting and highly anticipated sporting events in the state. Each December, over the course of three days, the final two teams from each of Alabama’s seven classifications (1A through 7A) compete to be crowned as the new state champions. Each year, the event alternates between the two largest football facilities in the state, the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. In 2016, Jordan-Hare Stadium hosted a new total attendance record of 49,353 and the AHSAA looks to welcome another record crowd to the Auburn December 5 -7, 2018.
