Also, is it me, or does it seem like the $40 some have payed for a tricitiessports.com membership isn't/hasn't been worth it? I've been disappointed.

 

 

I agree tcsf. I tried to give you some $$$ didn't I? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I feel like they did a pretty good job the month or so before the first deadline, then after that, they dropped WAY off.

DB actually has to travel in the Region Tourny to play a team with a 6-21 record. And right now I would have to call that game a toss-up. Did anybody think we would ever see DB basketball get to this point? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

 

The 04-05 season saw DB go 16-9, losing in the first round of the District to South 63-48, and the 01-02 season saw DB lose to Cocke County 64-61 in the first round of the Regionals. Yes DB has had worse days. They just need to win two straight to qualify for the Sub-State. a toss up? I dont think so. They will beat jeff co. handedly. Then it will be a win or go home scenario between Science Hill and Dobyns Bennett played @ DB.

Does anybody know if the Big 9 will have any coaching changes this next year? just wondering. I would love to see atleast one of the big 9 boys teams make to murfreesboro this year! when was the last time db won the state? i remember playing them back in the early 90's and i really feel like they could have won a once or twice, the talent they had that came through. i cant remember the coach at that time...shipley or something like that...was right after coach van huss stopped coaching. anybody know?

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
