This is just another example of the horribly warped values that have developed in our society. The adults involved in this fraud have done these students a terrible disservice. At least the school superintendent understands the real issue here.

As adults, one of our primary responsibilities is to insure that our children are properly educated and prepared to become productive citizens. With the TN Promise and HOPE scholarships and Pell Grants, an underprivileged student has a much better chance of pursuing (and succeeding in) an undergraduate education by focusing on academic performance, rather than athletic performance.

If they had to cook the books because they couldn't pass in the first place. Then why now would they be able to pass to qualify for the playoffs. #2 pencil is going to win this one.

The biggest penalty will be from the NCAA clearinghouse. If grades from Trezevant can't be trusted then no athletes will be allowed to compete at the next level.

I would hate that for the RB and the other kids who plan to play college ball. If I was in his shoes I wouldnt know how to feel.

It just gives other people some hope but if My team were to make it,I'd rather play DaBears. It would seem cheap to win it all this way.

I know it opens the door for other teams and I probably would feel the same but what i bothering me is all the goody two shoes comments like they are the only team to ever pencilwhip the grades.

Yeah a lot of folks jumping on this wagon.Some of these kids are innocent and their season just went in the tank(as of now).I was really looking forward to seeing this team play for it all again!I am disappointed!

Aww we know every chance they get what will happen to us. There is no leniency given towards this way.
