South Pittsburg vs Culumbia Academy (Grider against this Lansdell man)

As of right now playoff info for both teams look like this.

South Pittsburg has played exactly 100 playoff games. They are 72-28 overall while outscoring opponents 3116 to 1561 or 31.16 ppg to 15.61 ppg. In the quarterfinals the Pirates are 15-6 while outscoring opponents 549-345 or 26-16 per game.

 

Columbia Academy is 12-13 overall in the playoffs outscoring opponents 24.2 - 23.3 per game. In the quarterfinals they are 1-3 while being outscored by their opponents 32-25. Their only win in the quarterfinals came last year at South Pittsburg 56-28.

South Pittsburg's last quarterfinal win came in 2013 when they beat Coalfield 43-22, which was also the last time that they made it to the state championship game.

Parking Map for CA below.  Two GPS addresses are shown.  It's very difficult to enter on one side of the campus and park on the other.  The blue outlined parking is closest to the visitors bleachers.  Safe travels!  and can we turn this thread positive and get excited about high school playoff football!

I think every 1A team in Round 3 knows it's coming!  This will be the second time we have had to opportunity to host a 3rd round.  NCS got us the last time.  It was a valiant effort, but too many miscues again.  These 2016 boys were Soph and Freshman then, so they do have some experience to draw upon; but it will be up to coaching to help them understand the added element the storied SP program brings to town with the team.  We are hoping for a derailment

If you are coming up to I-840 to cross over to I-65S, you can take Exit 53 Saturn Parkway over to the Crossings just south of Spring Hill.  https://www.mallscenters.com/malls/tennessee/the-crossings-of-spring-hill They have just about any flavor you want.  You'll be about 30 minutes from a seat in the bleachers from there though.  If it is mom and pop that you want, then check out Betty's Parkway https://www.facebook.com/bettysparkway for a good steak.  You'll be about 15 minutes from your seat from Betty's.  Puckett's on the square in Columbia is great too. http://puckettsgro.com/ just 10 minutes from your seat.  Hope this helps.  Safe travels.

I will have to agree with you somewhat, I ain't no CA fan but this thing has got crazy! I've read this whole thread and aint figured out what the problem is other than y'all beat them last year. They acting like y'all robbed them or something. They didn't even spell Columbia right in the title lol
