Laz had them by 8.9 and Sonny had them by 12.46.

Many of us moronic, dumb, idiot, clueless, brain-dead, crazy Lion fans had us winning big. All the experts & smart gurus said impossible. Never going to happen. And yet.... proof is in the pudding. Greenback won't be dominated by Dresden either. Impossible. Not this Kees team, never happen. ... Oh yeah? .. :D (off I go back to my padded cell, helmet put on, sipping kool-aid)

It's totally comical you think dresden is even on the same planet as the 2011-2012 CAK team.Ha!

 

That CAK had an Offense line that out weighed Alcoa by somewhere around 40-50 pounds. One linemen that starts at TN.

 

This game....Greenback has a huge advantage in line size. Mr Football Shivey will live in the lion backfield. Fact!

 

This is a pass happy finesse team verses a smack you in the mouth physical team. Lions rely on the fast pass to a spot.

 

The Cherokees will pressure the QB and jam the WR athe the line...especially the slot, and disrupt the timing. That will force them to run the ball and Greenbacks line and LB's get the stops.

Really? So Greenback don't have 11 players on field? Don't use an oblong shaped ball? No helmets & pads? Players don't have two arms & two legs? ... Hmmm, we must be playing a rugby team of octupus? Jellyfish? Grandaddy longlegs? Grasshoppers? Scorpions? Lobsters? If they are not in any shape, form, or fashion like other teams we beaten, pray-tell what ARE these non-human, non-football players? .. Curious indeed. ROFLMHO (back to my room & kool-aid).

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
